Abstract submission

Authors are invited to submit abstracts for oral presentations or a poster. Poster authors will get a chance to present their work with 2-minute pitches in the main conference program.

Potential speakers must have registered and purchased their conference ticket prior to abstract selection.

We aim to have conference sessions that cover, but are not limited to: science-base for conservation and management; challenges in data poor situations; life-history and population dynamics; movement ecology; coherence in international legislation and policy; selectivity, survival, and discards of elasmobranchs in fisheries; and future perspectives. The final sessions will be classified depending on submissions.

The submission deadline is September 10th, 2021. The conference Scientific Committee will select the oral presentations from the abstracts judging on the scientific relevance and quality. Participants will be notified about the approval of their submission by September 24st. We may request oral presentation submissions to be presented as a poster, depending on the number of delegates and the number of available oral presentations.
